Jana Henige is a native of Phoenix, Arizona. She began coaching youth volleyball back in 2004. She has built a very successful youth program, which in turn has won several championships and turned out several of the top youth players across the state. She built her program on a solid foundation of fundamentals and hard work, which she instills in all of her players. Jana has given individual instruction to many players for years, taking them from first-time players to starters on their respective school teams.
As a player, Jana began playing volleyball for Greenway High School her freshman year. She made Honorable Mention All State her junior year, First Team All Region as well as the All-Star Team her senior year. Jana played sports year round in high school. She went on to play volleyball under scholarship for Phoenix Community College. Jana has continued to play in many different adult women leagues as well as coed leagues.
Jana and her husband, Bob, of 15 years have six children, Kennedie (13 years old), Bobby (11 years old), Brittnie (8 years old), Rylie (6 years old), Bradey (3 years old ), and Tommy (1 year old).
Jana has a true heart for young teens. She believes that with her experience as an athlete and a coach she can enhance each player on many levels. She is excited to take her team to the next level.
