The Arizona United Volleyball Club is designed to unite girls from around the valley, from different schools, and from different backgrounds under the banner of The Arizona United Volleyball Club. Our focus as a volleyball club is to develop/train the physical and mental skills it takes to perform volleyball at the highest level. Each player will receive the necessary instruction and discipline to achieve the club’s overall goal of creating well rounded volleyball players, athletes, and young women.
AZ United was founded and is directed by Amanda Burbridge-Liebermann and Evan Sedillo to better serve the volleyball community in Arizona. AZ United is dedicated to attaining these goals:
- To run an organized club program through communication and leadership from the directors and coaches.
- To employ coaches that have strengths in coaching fundamentals, creating competitors, and have themselves been a top athlete.
- To focus on coaching development and continuing education to stay relevant with current volleyball techniques.
- To teach identical skill technique throughout the age levels to ensure the development of the athlete into a collegiate player.
- Increased training time for teams and individuals to better prepare for tournaments and personal growth.
- Assist parents and athletes in the collegiate recruiting process.
- Establish a grassroots training academy for players under the age of 12.
